What happens when you pass up that one - big - crazy opportunity to tell him or her that you're in love... With them? Do you wait for another - equally amazing - moment to swing by again, or do you ignore any future possibilities, assuming the time has passed? Does "bad timing" really exist, when two people share an immaculate connection on opposite sides of the world, or when two people share an immaculate friendship on opposite sides of the room? Or is this just an excuse we make up to placate our nervousness? I'm toying with the idea of love in my head... (Obviously, love belongs in my heart, not my head... My first problem, I know. Ha.) These silly little thoughts have plagued me today, and my motivation to finish my term paper... ;)
I think Im beginning to think that 'wrong time' is a reality but with that always believed that if its ment to work it will. so they go hand in hand no. ?
ReplyDeletewhat makes this plague your mind?
I do have to admit that in reading your blog i had a minor ephifany that perhaps if you don't avoid it. if you don't skip admitting you have invested your heart that perhaps even if it doesn't wind up working out the closure part is a lot easier.....
Ah... I don't think you are meant for just one other person in the whole world... I think anyone person might be compatible at different levels with different people... and since hopefully we are always changing and growing more into ourselves and getting more comfortable in our own skin I do think that bad timing can happen.... you know sometimes someone is just so right for you, but you're not who you are going to be just yet, so they're so right for you right now, but in a little while they're going to be soooo wrong for you! Does that make sense? sort of rambling....
ReplyDeleteIt's all making perfect sense, ladies. So lovely to hear your thoughts. I agree, Elle, I don't think we're meant for one person, but there are people who fit in at different times in our lives. I'm *almost* ready to take that leap... I think... ;)
