I attended the Snow Patrol concert last night at the Beacon on the upper west side, near Lincoln Center. It was totally marvelous! The Beacon is a historical landmark, previously hosting performances by Van Morrison, the Rollings Stones, and Aerosmith - to name a few. The show was fantastic, as it opened with the Plain White T's, who are simply wonderful on stage. The intermission was oh-so brief before Snow Patrol emerged with all of their great songs, then returned again for a four-song encore. Oh my, it was quite a divine night.
