yesterday was "orchid show" day, perhaps the perfect day to spend in a sun dress and sunglasses... roaming around gardens of orchids. after a lovely brunch composed of sangria-itas and omelettes, we took the "d" train uptown to the bronx and walked 8 blocks to the new york botanical garden. it was exactly what i imagined - orchids everywhere. my photos hardly do justice to their beauty. the weather was divine and the company even better.
