"we are the movies. and the movies are us." - david ansenthis weekend, alix and i saw "duplicity" at the city cinema in the east village. it started off simply as a trip to "16 handles," a totally amazing yogurt shop down on 2nd ave, but turned into a mini adventure. we walked into "theatre 1" to be completely shocked by the light fixture in this original art theatre. the movie sucked, but the atmosphere made the evening well worth it.
